We had an inspiring group of women from Palomar Health join us for our Food Smarts Training Program (FSTP) last week. We trained their multi-disciplinary team on how to use Food Smarts with patients and their families in their Pediatric Obesity Clinic. We ended the day with a bit of learning ourselves as their team shared their thoughts on patient-centered preventative care, the future of hospitals, and what the biggest barriers are to healthcare shifts we’d all like to see. I think we learned as much as they did!
