So excited to share that we have just signed a partnership agreement with one of my favorite organizations – StoryCorps. With the inspiration of the terrific interviews from The Tenderloin Cooking School, we decided it would be fantastic to continue to capture the amazing stories of our workshop participants. As part of this collaboration, we will be trained to capture stories the “StoryCorps” way and look forward to that work this fall. Similar to telling stories at a booth, our work will involve recording conversations between two people. These stories will be archived at the Library of Congress, but also given to the participants themselves and to Leah’s Pantry. We hope to excerpt them on our website in 2015.
