2020 presented the Nutrition Pantry Program (NPP) team with big challenges and even bigger opportunities. The COVID-19 pandemic, which wreaked havoc on the charitable food system, has nonetheless emphasized the continued importance of community and client-centered food distributions. Last year, in addition to providing resources and technical assistance to our trained implementers, the NPP team was able to train over 58 new implementers and added 38 pantries to our partner network. Additionally, NPP was accepted into the National SNAP-Ed toolkit, ensuring that our program will be able to support communities across the United States for years to come.
