Join us in tending these school gardens and building a healthier, more nourished future for San Diego youth.

San Diego Urban School Garden Program
The San Diego Urban School Garden Program transforms school campuses into vibrant living classrooms where our instructors deliver an engaging interdisciplinary curriculum. Grounded in a trauma-informed approach, our lessons cultivate academic achievement, nutrition and environmental literacy, and student and community well-being.

Thriving 30
As a key partner in the Thriving 30 initiative, we bring edible garden spaces to students furthest from opportunity in San Diego's historically under-resourced neighborhoods. We partner closely with educators, caregivers and community leaders to advance access to experiential, garden-based learning.

Skill Building
Through hands-on planting, harvesting and tasting, young learners develop practical food cultivation skills from the ground up. Grounded in educational equity and outdoor discovery, these shared gardening experiences encourage curiosity, foster emotional resilience and nurture appreciation for wholesome, nourishing food.
