BRIDGE Housing Food Navigators
Program Overview
Since 2020, Leah’s Pantry has partnered with Bridge Housing to offer Food Navigation services to over 5,000 residents at 27 affordable housing sites across 10 California counties. The services provided for residents vary depending on need but include activities like resident nutrition classes, onsite food distributions, CalFresh sign-up and outreach, movement classes, resource fairs, and one-on-one service coordination. Over the past two years, Leah’s Pantry has held over 217 nutrition education classes, hosted 306 food distributions, and distributed 442,039 lbs of food to Bridge residents.
