Around the Table Facilitator Training and Curriculum Bundle

Description:  This unique training will equip participants to facilitate the Around the Table curricula, which aims to increase the health and resilience of the communities you serve.  Participants will:

• Learn how to implement the Around the Table curriculum
• Explore the relationship between positive and adverse experiences and nourishment
• Develop compassionate facilitation strategies
• Engage in personal and group reflection

Audience:  Educators working with older youth/young adults and/or adult caregivers. [If an agency has multiple participants, each participant must register separately so that their registration email address can then be added to our online training system.]

Training Delivery and Dates:  This program includes self-paced content (videos, reflection activities, and readings) and live, instructor-led sessions. Registered participants will gain access to our online training system (TalentLMS) and will need to complete approximately one and a half hours of self-paced work prior to the first live session on February 12, 2026. Once registered, you will receive several emails in late-January inviting you to our online platform. Participants will have access to digital curriculum files and will be sent an Around the Table Curriculum Bundle (which includes a Youth workbook and instructor guide and a Nourishing Families workbook and instructor guide).  Key dates are as follows:

• Self-Paced Course Opens:  late-January
• Live Zoom Sessions: 2/12/26, 2/19/26, 2/26/26, and 3/5/26; Times: 10 a.m.–11:30 a.m. PT

NOTE:  Although registration will remain open until 2/11/26, participants who register after 1/23/26 may not receive the hardcopy curriculum bundle until after the first session, in which case participants will have to rely on the digital curriculum for reference.

Total Training Time:  Approximately 12 hours total (six hours of live sessions and about six hours of self-paced work)

Materials:  One copy of the Instructor Guide and Workbook for each the Youth and Nourishing Families curricula is included in the training cost.  Materials will be sent to participants once they purchase the training.

Next Steps:  Upon completion of this program, participants are certified to deliver the Around the Table Youth and Around the Table: Nourishing Families curriculum.
