Course Description:
This self-paced course highlights the importance of self-care and regulation for dietitians. The course also encourages a critical look at modern-day self-care and argues for an approach to self-care that recognizes systemic barriers to wellbeing and the importance of community care. This course includes short videos and reflection activities.
Learning Objectives:
- Participants will describe why self-care is important to the success of their work as dietitians.
- Participants will plan self-care and self-regulation strategies to counter burnout and improve their ability to help others
Intended Audience and CPEUs: This course is intended for Registered Dietitians and Dietetic Technicians, Registered. Completing the course will earn 1 CPEU.
